I spent the weekend porting The Lion’s Domain over to its new site and setting up Wordpress. The site is a work in progress, and it looks pretty good, but the hosting company I’m using absolutely sucks. It takes too damn long to load the blog, even on a T1 line. :(I have to find a new host and do this all over again.

The good news is, Wordpress has a feature that allows you to import your entire Blogger blog!
It worked great, except for some weirdness in posts with pictures. The image in the unicorn post keeps disappearing for some reason. But unicorns are known to do that.

Looks great! I like the way the date & details are in the left column there. I had heard it was a nightmare to import blogger posts... I didn't even try it when I moved to WordPress. Maybe I'll go back and give it a shot.
BTW, I use FutureQuest.net as a hosting company and they ROCK.
