The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has found no link between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda. The 148-page report that was 3-years in the making states that Saddam Hussein was distrustful of al-Qaeda and regarded Islamic extremism as a threat to his regime.

Good God. Nearly every American could've saved 147 pages of worthless fodder and came to that conclusion nearly 4 years ago! Everyone knew that Saddam and Al-Qaeda were on opposite sides of the spectrum. Geez...talk about non-ground breaking info...

Yeah, I agree, if they need to spend their money that badly, I have a thesis they could fund, and at least it's results would be useful.

But this is the government and the less useful something is the more money it gets. But no government ever works well when it's representitives/workers can't put the needs of who they represent over their own personal ambitions.

You can throw all you fact, research, proof and reality at me you want, but your liberal trick just won't work. You know why, cuz I "feel" there was a connection and my feeling are smarter than any Facts you come up with. ;)

P.S. I also feel that the earth is flat and the sun is just a big light bulb that turn on and off.

I "feel" that the Republicans will still control the House and Senate in November even after all of this. Ah, well. Maybe in 2008.
