Looming Transit Strike

The New York City transit workers are poised to strike Friday if they don’t get a new contract. It seems that even though the MTA has a budget surplus and they’re giving away free rides, they haven’t gotten around to giving their workers a raise.

If they go on strike my job isn’t going to reimburse us for cabs or arrange for car services or pay our parking fees if we drive in so...

Please go on strike! It means I get to stay home!

Well, I suppose on the limited bright side of things, at least the deadline is after the weekend.
But it'll be rough for everyone who hates having to take a cab to the airports this Christmas.
Though, if you're a driver, you won't really have to worry about getting stuck behind a bus in traffic if they do go on strike, that might be nice.
Good luck any which way it goes
